ISSUE OF WARRANTS : SALIENT DATES
Shareholders are referred to the final results announcement released
on SENS on 11 September 2008 wherein it was advised that
Directors propose to issue, free of charge, Warrants to
subscribe for ordinary shares in the Company. The Warrants
will be exercisable at a fixed price of 28p each on the last
day of each month from November 2008 until the Final Exercise
Date which will be on or about 30th September 2010. The
Warrants will be issued on the basis of 12 Warrants for every
100 shares held at the close of business on 13 October 2008,
but fractions of warrants will not be issued. Warrant
certificates will be posted at the holders risk on or about 24
October 2008. The Warrants will not be listed.

RECORD DATE (UK) MONDAY, 6 OCTOBER 2008
EX DATE (SA) TUESDAY, 7 OCTOBER 2008
RECORD DATE (SA) MONDAY, 13 OCTOBER 2008
ISSUE DATE (SA) FRIDAY, 24 OCTOBER 2008
No dematerialisation or rematerialisation or transfer of shares
between the registers in London and South Africa will take
place between Monday 6 October and Tuesday 14 October2008,
both dates inclusive.
As all warrants will be only be rounded down, any shareholder
holding less than 9 shares on the register on Monday, 13
October 2008 will therefore not be receiving a warrant.
