Retirement of Chief Executive Officer
Nampak wishes to announce that the chief executive officer, Mr John Bortolan,
has decided to take retirement with effect from 31 March 2009, on which date he
will also resign as a director of the Company. John has had 28 years of service
with the group, including 18 years on the Board and 5 years as chief executive
officer.
A process to select a successor for John has begun and a further announcement
will be made in due course.
The Board wishes to thank John for his contribution to Nampak over many years.
