TRADING STATEMENT
Shareholders are advised, in terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, that the earnings and headline earnings of Capitec for the six months
ended 31 August 2008 are expected to exceed the earnings and headline earnings
of the company for the previous corresponding period i.e. 31 August 2007 by
between 15% and 25%.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by Capitec`s auditors. The results for the six months
ended 31 August 2008 are expected to be published on or about 1 October 2008.
