Further to the cautionary announcements dated 11 August 2008 and 23 September
2008, Famous Brands shareholders are advised that the negotiations referred to
therein have been suspended. Accordingly, caution is no longer required to be
exercised by Famous Brands shareholders when dealing in their Famous Brands
shares.
