DECLARATION OF PREFERENCE DIVIDEND NUMBER 5
Notice is hereby given that on Friday, 3 October 2008, Netcare Limited declared
a preference dividend (Number 5) of 574,31 cents per preference share for the
period from 1 April 2008 to 30 September 2008, payable on Monday, 27 October
2008 to holders of the preference shares recorded in the books of the Company at
close of business on Friday, 24 October 2008.
In compliance with the requirements of STRATE, the following dates are
applicable:
Last date to trade "cum" the
preference dividend ("LDT") Friday, 17 October 2008
Date trading commences "ex"
the preference dividend Monday, 20 October 2008
Record date Friday, 24 October 2008
Date of payment Monday, 27 October 2008
Share certificates may not be dematerialised nor rematerialised between Monday,
20 October 2008 and Friday, 24 October 2008, both dates inclusive.
