CHANGES TO THE BOARD AND APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN
In accordance with rule 3.59(c) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited
("Listings Requirements"), the board of directors of Dialogue would like to
announce that, following six years as chairman of the group from its start-up to
where it is a listed entity, Mr Stephen Rodger, who is UK-based, announced to
the board that he wished to relinquish the role of group chairman to concentrate
on his UK business interests. Mr Rodger will continue to contribute to the
group`s development as a non-executive director.
Furthermore, and in accordance with rule 3.59(a) of the Listings Requirements,
the board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Peter Anthony Watt as
independent non-executive chairman with immediate effect.
Previously chief executive of the JSE-listed Business Connexion Group Limited,
Mr Watt brings to the group extensive strategic and leadership qualities. He
was deputy chairman of the Altron Group from 1993 to 1997. He then served as
CEO of Dorbyl Automotive Technologies until 1999, when he was appointed CEO of
Comparex Africa and a director of Comparex Holdings Limited. Following the
disposal of the European operations of Comparex, he became CEO of Comparex group
which subsequently merged with Business Connexion.
Mr Watt is a founder member of the National Economic Forum and Business South
Africa as well as a former member of the Presidential National Commission for
ICT.
