ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE URGENT LIQUIDATION OF DEALSTREAM
Following the announcements dated 25 September regarding Dealstream Securities
(Pty) Limited ("Dealstream") and 1 October 2008 regarding the clarification of
shares purchased by Control Instruments and its Share Incentive Scheme, Control
Instruments announces that its subsidiary, Control Instruments Automotive (Pty)
Limited, has applied for the urgent liquidation of Dealstream in the High Court
of South Africa (Witwatersrand Local Division). The order for the provisional
liquidation of Dealstream was granted late on Sunday evening, 5 October 2008.
Control Instruments was advised to follow this route by its legal advisors,
primarily to protect the interests of the Group and its shareholders.
Control Instruments invites parties interested in being part of the
investigations subsequent to the liquidation of Dealstream to contact it at
