The net attributable asset value ("NAAV") of the Foord Compass Limited Variable
Rate Debentures ("the debentures") is reported on by the company on a quarterly
basis. The NAAV as at 30 September 2008 amounted to 740.9 cents per debenture
(30 June 2008: 733.6 cents on an ex-interest basis). The increase in the NAAV
over the quarter brings the total return on the debentures for the nine months
ended 30 September 2008 to 6.0%.
Debenture interest of 36.0 cents per debenture was paid to debenture holders in
August 2008 in respect of the interim interest declaration for the six months
ended 30 June 2008 announced on 16 July 2008.
The reported NAAV has not been reviewed or reported on by the company`s
auditors.
