CHANGE OF IMPORTANT FUNCTION OF DIRECTOR
In terms of paragraph 3.59 (c) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
the Board of Directors of Country Foods is pleased to advise shareholders that
James Hugh Anderson (Independent Director) has assumed the role of Acting Chief
Executive Officer with effect from 1 October 2008.
Further to the announcement dated 2 September 2008, shareholders are advised
that negotiations are still ongoing to refinance the group and shareholders will
be informed of any further developments.
