A portfolio in the Satrix Collective Investment Scheme ("Satrix") registered as
such in terms of the Collective Investment Schemes Control Act, 45 of 2002 (the
"Act") (the "portfolio")

DISTRIBUTION FINALISATION ANNOUNCEMENT
The manager and trustees of the Satrix Collective Investment Scheme (being
Satrix Managers (Proprietary) Limited and ABSA Bank Limited respectively) have
resolved to make a distribution to holders of Satrix Dividend Plus securities
recorded in the register in respect of the quarter ended 30 September 2008. This
distribution will:
be an amount of 2.06 cents (R0.0206) per Satrix Dividend Plus security;
be constituted entirely by dividends;
be made to all holders of Satrix Dividend Plus securities recorded in the
register on 3 October 2008; and
be effected on 10 October 2008.
