In compliance with the requirements of rule 3.59 of the JSE Listings
requirements, the company would like to announce that Mr AA Paruk has been
appointed as non-executive director with effect from 8 October 2008.
Ashraff Paruk is currently pursuing entrepreneurial initiatives in Telecoms,
including developing a joint venture for African and Middle East value-added
services providers, providing strategic and innovative consultancy services,
business development for strategic deals and pursuing equity linked deals in the
emerging markets. Before this he was employed at MTN (Proprietary) Limited for a
period of five years, with the latest role being head of strategy and product
innovation
He will add value and insight to inter alia the new media strategies pursued at
Kagiso Media.
