Investec Bank Limited, as Issuers of the above EXXIDC, Enhanced Distribution
Security (EDS), advised Holders that due to the breach of the stop loss level of
R66.00 in the Underlying Share, as of close of business Monday, 6 October 2008
the abovementioned Enhanced Distribution Security (EDS) has been terminated.
The Rebate Payment, represents the number of EDS held on the termination date,
multiplied by the excess of the simple average of the Volume Weighted Average
Price ("VWAP") of the Underlying Share over the two Business Days following the
Termination Date over the Exercise Price (Strike Price) of R48.40. This amount
will automatically accrue to holders via instruction through STRATE.
The VWAP on Tuesday, 7 October 2008 = 6227.66cents
The VWAP on Wednesday, 8 October 2008 = 6755.22 cents
The simple average of the 2 day VWAP = 6491.44 cents
Rebate payment of 1651.44 cents
Holders will receive R16.5144 for every warrant held
