TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited,
companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are
satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial
results for the period to be reported on will differ by at least 20% from the
financial results for the previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are hereby advised that the directors of the company are reasonably
certain that in respect of the six month period ended 31 August 2008:
- headline loss per share is expected to be between 280% and 300% higher
than for the period ended 31 August 2007 at 2.51 cents per share
(2007: 0.65 cents per share); and
- loss per share is expected to be between 190% and 210% higher than for
the period ended 31 August 2007 at 1.94 cents per share (2007: 0.65
cents per share).
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors.
The results for the period ended 31 August 2008 are expected to be published on
or about 31 October 2008.
