RESULTS OF THE OFFER OF CARBON CREDIT NOTES
Investors are referred to the announcements dated 22 October, 1 October and 10
September 2008 and to the offering circular issued on
27 August 2008.
Subscriptions in a total amount of R50 886 010.87 were received in respect of
the Offer.
The above total Rand subscription amount will be exchanged for Euro3 769 753 at
an exchange rate of R13.4985 to Euro1. This was the applicable rate at the time
the exchange transaction was booked on the revised Allocation Date, being
Tuesday, 28 October 2008.
Accordingly, the Subscription Price per Carbon Credit Note is R175.4805.
A total of 289 981 Carbon Credit Notes, at an issue price of Euro 13,00 each,
have been allocated to Holders in terms of the Offer.
Any amounts to be refunded to Holders as provided for in the offering circular
will be returned via electronic funds transfer to the relevant Holders` bank
account, details of which the Holder included in the application form. These
payments will be made by no later than 8 November 2008.
The Carbon Credit Notes will list on the JSE Limited on Friday, 31 October 2008.
