Following the unbundling of British American Tobacco (South Africa, constituent)
from Reinet Investments (South Africa, constituent) to shareholders, and
notification from the Stock Exchange, FTSE and the JSE announces the following
changes:
INDEX CHANGE EFFECTIVE FROM
START OF TRADING
FTSE/JSE Africa Industrial 25 (J211) British American
Tobacco (South Africa, GB0002875804, B3DCKS1)
will be deleted from the index.
Reinet Investments (South Africa, CH0045793657, B3F2012) will be deleted
from the index. 30 October 2008
Please note an announcement will be made in due course regarding the removal of
BAT from remaining FTSE/JSE indices.
