Change of name of Enaleni
1. Introduction and rationale
At the annual general meeting held on 24 July 2008, the requisite majority
of Enaleni shareholders approved the special resolution relating to the
change of the company`s name, Enaleni Pharmaceuticals Limited to Cipla
Medpro South Africa Limited.
Having recently divested of its non-core consumer businesses, the company
is now strategically positioned to concentrate solely on the local
pharmaceutical market in which, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Cipla
Medpro Holdings (Proprietary) Limited, it commands a substantial, and ever-
increasing, share within, inter alia, the cardiovascular, antiretroviral,
respiratory and neuro-psychiatric categories.
Consequently, the new name will better reflect the company`s positioning in
the pharmaceutical industry.

The salient dates and times for the implementation of the change of name of
the company to Cipla Medpro South Africa Limited are set out below.

Circular to be posted to shareholders Thursday, 6 November
Last day to trade under old name "Enaleni Friday, 14 November
Pharmaceuticals Limited" on

Notes:
i. These dates and times are subject to amendment. Any such amendment
will be released on the Securities Exchange News Service and published
in the South African Press.
ii. Shareholders will not be able to dematerialise or rematerialise
securities in the name of Enaleni after Friday, 14 November 2008 and
may only dematerialise their new Cipla Medpro South Africa Limited
shares from Monday, 24 November 2008.
iii. Certificated Enaleni shareholders who surrender their existing
documents of title after 12:00 on the record date, will have their new
share certificates mailed within five business days of receipt thereof
by the transfer secretaries, Computershare Investor Services
(Proprietary) Limited, by registered post in South Africa, at the risk
of the shareholders concerned.
3. Circular to shareholders
Enaleni shareholders are hereby notified that a circular regarding the
change of name, including a form of surrender, will be dispatched to
shareholders on Thursday, 6 November 2008.
