Investec Bank Limited, as Issuers of the above MTNIDE, Enhanced Distribution
Security (EDS), advised Holders that due to the breach of the stop loss level of
R88.77 in the Underlying Share, as of close of business Thursday, 23 October
2008 the abovementioned Enhanced Distribution Security (EDS) has been
terminated.
The Rebate Payment, represents the number of EDS held on the termination date,
multiplied by the excess of the simple average of the Volume Weighted Average
Price ("VWAP") of the Underlying Share over the two Business Days following the
Termination Date over the Exercise Price (Strike Price) of R65.10. This amount
will automatically accrue to holders via instruction through STRATE.
The VWAP on Friday, 24 October 2008 = 7859.16cents
The VWAP on Monday, 27 October 2008 = 7709.99cents
The simple average of the 2 day VWAP = 7784.575cents
Rebate payment of 1274.575 cents
Holders will receive R12.74575 for every warrant held
