APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR
In compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are
advised that Mr. Stanley John Aldridge has been appointed as the Group Financial
Director and Company Secretary of Famous Brands, with effect from 1 November
2008.
Mr. Aldrige is a Chartered Accountant and completed his articles with Deloitte
and Touche. He was a Financial Executive and Director of the Edcon Group with a
career spanning 20 years (1981 - 2001). After that he was a Director of the
Finance Card Division at Standard Bank for 6 years (2001 - 2007). For the past
18 months he has been consulting to various groups including Nando`s and Master
Card Africa Inc.
