NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING, APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR AND CHANGE STATEMENT
Notice of Annual General meeting
Notice is hereby given that the second annual general meeting of shareholders of
the Company will be held at Manta Place, Turnberry Office Park, 48 Grosvenor
Road, Bryanston, 2021, Sandton on Friday, 21 November 2008 at 10:00 for the
purpose of conducting the business as stated in the notice of annual general
meeting forming part of the 2008 annual general report.
Appointment of Director
In compliance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, notice is hereby given of the following appointment to the board of
directors of the Company:
Mr Barry Charles Budler has been appointed as an executive director of Myriad,
with effect from 1 November 2008.
Barry Budler holds a B.Com. Honours in Accounting and is a Chartered Accountant.
He is a finance executive who has held managerial positions in South Africa,
Australia and United States of America. His experience includes, inter alia,
listed company, JSE and management reporting, external and internal audit,
company secretarial functions, implementing corporate governance structures and
concluding acquisitions. Barry is currently the Financial Director of Myriad
Medical (Proprietary) Limited. Prior to this he was group financial controller
at two listed South African companies and an audit manager at Deloitte.
The appointment of Barry increases the number of Chartered Accountants on the
board to three.
Posting of Annual Financial Statements and a Change Statement
Shareholders are advised that the Group`s 2008 annual report containing the
annual financial statements for the year ended 31 May 2008 was posted to
shareholders on 30 October 2008 and contains modifications to the reviewed
preliminary condensed annual financial statements published on 14 August 2008.
None of these modifications effect earnings, headline earnings, earnings per
share, headline earnings per share, diluted earnings per share and diluted
headline earnings per share.
The revised condensed 2008 Group cash flow statement is as follows

The preliminary net asset value per share and net tangible asset value per share
have increased to 70.6 and 28.1 cents per share respectively. This change is
due to the treatment of the purchase of the Company`s shares in terms of the
share buy-back. These shares are required to be deducted from the number of
shares in issue when calculating the asset value per share numbers.
