CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited,
shareholders are advised of the following changes to the Beget board of
directors with effect from 31 October 2008:
Mr Tebogo Mogashoa, formerly the acting non-executive chairman, will assume the
role of non-executive director of the company;
Mr Henk Potgieter, currently an executive director, will assume the role of non-
executive director of the company; and
Advocate Joe Fana Nalane has been appointed as the independent non-executive
chairman of the company. Joe, who previously practiced as an attorney and who
specialises in corporate and commercial law, is a director on the boards of
various companies.
