CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements,
shareholders of the group are advised of the following change to the board of
directors of ARB ("the board").
The appointment of Byron Nichles to the board as CEO and executive director of
ARB effective 1 February 2009. As a Chartered Accountant, Byron has over
fourteen years` financial services and advisory experience. As a former
director of Bridge Capital, he advised ARB during its listing process in 2007.
Byron`s appointment will pave the way for the group to explore appropriate
merger and acquisition opportunities to stimulate sustainable growth in
challenging market conditions.
Current CEO Craig Robertson will focus exclusively on key operating subsidiary
ARB Electrical Wholesalers leveraging his sixteen years of experience with the
business.
