Derrick Msibi joins Alexander Forbes Group as Managing Director of Investment
Solutions
Industry veteran and chartered accountant Derrick Msibi has been appointed
Managing Director of Alexander Forbes` multi-manager business, Investment
Solutions. Msibi is to take up his new position in January 2009.
After completing his articles with KPMG, Msibi took up a position at Old Mutual
Asset Managers in 1997 as Corporate Finance Analyst. He was promoted to
Executive Director Alternative Investments and most recently held the position
of Executive Director of OMIGSA responsible for Marketing and Distribution.
"Derrick`s qualifications and leadership skills, with both a Management
Development Programme at Harvard Business School and a Leadership Development
Programme at the London Business School under his belt, will be a valuable asset
to the Group," said Alexander Forbes Group Chief Executive Bruce Campbell.
"His profound knowledge of the asset management industry will bring new insight
and experience to the country`s leading multi-manager."
