TRADING UPDATE
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required
to publish a trading statement as soon as they become aware that the financial
results for the period to be reported upon next will differ by at least 20% from
the financial results for the previous corresponding period.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised as follows:
- the company`s headline loss per share for the six-month period ended 31
August 2008 is expected to reduce to 0,5 pence, compared to the loss of 0,7
pence per share in respect of the period ended 31 August 2007; and
- the company`s basic loss per share for the six-month period ended 31 August
2008 is expected to reduce to 2,4 pence, compared to the loss of 3,1 pence
per share in respect of the period ended 31 August 2007.
The financial information for the six months ended 31 August 2008 contained in
this Trading Update has not been reviewed and/or reported on by the company`s
auditors. It is anticipated that the interim results for the six months ended
31 August 2008 will be published on or about 13 November 2008.
