APPOINTMENTS TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, the board of directors of JD Group hereby notifies its shareholders
that Mr Vusi Khanyile and Mr Gunter Z Steffens have been appointed as
independent non-executive directors of the company. In addition, Mr Ian Thompson
has been appointed as an executive director of the company. The effective date
of all three appointments is 13 November 2008.
