SAPPI LIMITED RIGHTS DISTRIBUTION
Following the Sappi Limited rights offer announcement, Sappi shareholders will
receive the right to take up 6 Sappi Limited shares at a price of R20.27 for
every 5 shares held.
DETAILS OF THE EVENT
The last day to trade will be 14 November 2008.The ex date is 17 November 2008.
The record date will be on 21 November 2008.
The NPL (Nil Paid Letter) will commence to trade on 17 November 2008. The last
day to trade the NPL will be on 5 December 2008. The record date is 12 December
2008.
The Issuer will amend the Share Instalment Terms and Conditions in the following
way:
The issuer will pass the NPL to the SAPNIE instalment holders. No adjustments
will be made to the SAPNIE share instalment. Holders of the new NPL must note
that they have until 5 December 2008 to trade the NPL.
