CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders
of the company are advised of the following changes to the board of directors of
Sallies ("the board").
Mr. Sandile Swana has been appointed as an independent non-executive director
with immediate effect. Sandile holds an MBA and his experience covers virtually
all disciplines of management and leadership having worked for multi-nationals
and private companies including Anglo American, New York Times, Caltex Oil and
The Don Suite Hotels. Sandile has also served in the capacity of non-executive
director for three JSE listed companies, namely, Aflease Gold, Covergenet
Holdings and Matodzi Resources. He is currently serving as chairman of Kabusha
Mining as well as Finance Director and CFO of Sable Data Work.
Mr Dennis Kerrison, FRSA, been appointed as an independent non-executive
director with immediate effect. Dennis is a chemist by profession and retired as
President and Chief Executive of Octel Corp. and The Associated Octel Company in
2006. Dennis currently serves as non-executive chairman of Inca Holdings, a
European IT Planning Group.
