TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are
required to publish a Trading Statement as soon as they become reasonably
certain that the financial results for the period to be reported on next, will
differ by more than 20% from those of the previous corresponding period.
The board of directors of ERM advises that its headline earnings per share for
the the six months interim period to 31 August 2008 is expected to show a
39.71 cents loss per share as opposed to the 2.08 cents profit per share as
reported for the comparable period to 31 August 2007, and earnings per share
is expected to show a 77.35 cents loss per share as opposed to the 1.37 cents
profit per share reported for the comparable period to 31 August 2007.
The information contained in this Trading Statement has not been reviewed or
reported on by the company`s external auditors. ERM will release its results
for the six months interim period to 31 August 2008 on or before 30 November
2008.
