APPOINTMENT OF SPONSOR, CHANGE OF YEAR END AND RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY
ANNOUNCEMENT
In accordance with the JSE Limited`s Listings Requirements, the board of
directors of Emergent are pleased to announce the appointment of Arcay Moela
Sponsors (Proprietary) Limited as their Sponsor with effect from 25 November
2008.
Emergent linked unit holders are referred to the cautionary announcements dated
15 August 2008, 30 September 2008 and 17 October 2008 respectively, and are
advised that trading in the securities of the Company remains suspended and that
the directors are evaluating available options.
Shareholders are advised that the year end of Emergent has changed to end of
February each year.
Accordingly, linked unit holders are advised to continue to exercise caution
when dealing in their linked units until a full announcement is made.
