Changes in the board of directors
Kagiso Media today announced the appointment of Ms Maud Motanyane as chairperson
of the Kagiso Media Limited board. Ms Motanyane has served as a non-executive
director on the Kagiso Media board since September 2005. Her appointment follows
the resignation of Mr Roger W Jardine, who served as Kagiso Media`s chairperson
for the past two years, following his role as chief executive officer for eight
years.
The board wishes to thank Roger for his sterling contribution to Kagiso Media.
When he joined the company in 1997, Kagiso Media was a relatively small media
player. Today the company has become a significant market force in the South
African media landscape with a firm history of value creation and delivery.
