CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited,
the board of directors of Sentula is pleased to notify its shareholders that
independent non-executive director, Mr Jeffrey van Rooyen, has been appointed as
Deputy Chairman of the board with immediate effect. Jeffrey succeeds Mr Dines
Gihwala who resigned as Deputy Chairman and non-executive director on 11
September 2008.
Sir Sam Jonah, Chairman of the board commented as follows: "We welcome Jeff as
Deputy Chairman and look forward to working with him during this significant
period in the company`s history. We look forward to the value and expertise he
brings to the Board and we wish him all of the best in his new role."
Jeffrey is the founder and former president of the Association for the
Advancement of Black Accountants of Southern Africa ("ABASA"). He currently
serves on the boards of Exxaro Resources Limited, Pick n Pay Holdings Limited
and MTN Group Limited.
The board currently comprises: Sam Jonah (Chairman), Jeffrey van Rooyen (Deputy
Chairman), Robin Berry (Chief Executive Officer), Deon Louw (Executive Director
Finance), Patrick Modisane (Executive Director), Allan Joffe (Non-Executive),
Richard Jonah (Non-Executive), Jonathan Best (Independent Non-Executive), Hugh
Stoyell (Independent Non-Executive), Pulane Kingston (Independent Non-
Executive), Dawn Marole (Independent Non-Executive) and Andiswe Kawa
(Independent Non-Executive).
