Resignation of director
The undermentioned announcement is published in compliance with paragraph 3.59
of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited.
The Board of Adcock Ingram ("the Board") wishes to announce the resignation of
Dr GN Padayachee as non-executive director of Adcock Ingram with effect from 1
December 2008.
Dr Padayachee has decided to take up a senior appointment within the Department
of Health. In the best interests of the company and in accordance with good
corporate governance Dr Padayachee has decided to relinquish his post as non-
executive director of Adcock Ingram to avoid any potential conflict of
interests.
The Board wishes to express its gratitude and appreciation to Dr Padayachee for
his invaluable contribution to the growth and development of Adcock Ingram
during his tenure.
