FATAL ACCIDENT AT PAMODZI GOLD PRESIDENT STEYN OPERATION
It is with great regret that the management of Pamodzi Gold announce the death
of Mr Bernard Mosiua Khoantle in an underground accident at the President Steyn
mine in the Free State.
The accident occurred on 1 December 2008 at no.2 shaft at the S2A underground
winder where the deceased was involved in maintenance and repair operations.
Pamodzi Gold Management in conjunction with the Department of Minerals and
Energy have commenced a full investigation into the factors that resulted in
this tragic accident.
Tony Murdoch Eaton, Pamodzi Gold`s Chief Operating Officer, extends his
condolences to Mr Mosiua`s family, colleagues and friends.
