RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR AND APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS
In line with the recent announcements by Wesizwe Platinum to proceed with its
capital development project, the company has commenced with a process of
restructuring in order to progressively develop its institutional capacity as
the project proceeds and to ensure that it has the correct skills mix with which
to meet the demands of the current economic climate. In this regard certain
changes to the Board of Directors have been made and in accordance with Section
3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, it is hereby announced
that:
Mrs Lorna Maloney has tendered her resignation as a director from the Board of
Wesizwe Platinum Limited with effect from 30 November 2008; and
Dr Iraj Abedian, Ms Dawn Mokhobo, Prof Peter Gaylard and Mr Mlibo Mgudlwa have
been appointed as non-executive directors to the Board of Wesizwe Platinum
Limited with immediate effect.
The Chairman, Board of Directors and Chief Executive would like to thank Mrs
Maloney for the significant contribution she has made to the Company during her
tenure on the board, and to welcome the new directors.
Wesizwe will periodically be making further announcements in this regard.
