DIRECTOR`S RESIGNATION
In terms of paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
notice is hereby given of the resignation of John Lehman, the incumbent Chief
Financial Officer, as a director of the Company and its subsidiaries with effect
from 28 February 2009. John has accepted a position as Chief Financial Officer
with an unlisted South African company in the construction industry.
In announcing the resignation today Lance Cooper, the Chief Executive Officer of
York, paid tribute to the significant contribution made by John in terms of the
growth of the Company over the past three years. He further indicated that he
expected the process of finding an appropriate replacement to be completed in
the next 3 months.
