PROPOSED BEE TRANSACTION AND RENEWAL OF CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT
Proposed BEE transaction:
Shareholders are referred to the cautionary announcement, dated 29 October 2008,
and are advised that negotiations relating to the proposed BEE transaction
should reach finality early in 2009 after a lengthy selection process,
culminating in discussions with the preferred party, a well-recognised BEE
entity. The successful conclusion and implementation of this BEE transaction is
of great importance to ACTowers in its electrical transmission initiative. A
detailed announcement will be made once the final terms of the proposed BEE
transaction have been agreed between ACTowers and the preferred BEE party.
Renewal of cautionary announcement
Having regard to the above, shareholders are advised to continue to exercise
caution when dealing in the company`s securities until a detailed announcement
is made, which announcement is expected to be made by 31 January 2009.
