DISTRIBUTION FINALISATION ANNOUNCEMENT
The manager and trustees of Satrix (being Satrix Managers (Proprietary) Limited
and ABSA Bank Limited respectively) have resolved to make a distribution to
holders of Satrix 40 securities in respect of the quarter ended 31 December
2008. This distribution, constituted entirely by dividends, will:
- be an amount of 9.64 cents (R0.0964) per Satrix 40 security;
- be made to all holders of Satrix 40 securities recorded in the register on
2 January 2009; and
- be effected on 8 January 2009.
Furthermore, the manager and the trustees wish to clarify and amend prior
distributions as follows:
- the dividend of 16.03 cents distributed for the quarter ended 31 March 2008
constituted 10.31 cents in respect of dividends and 5.72 cents in respect
of other income; and
- the dividend of 11.80 cents distributed for the quarter ended 30 June 2008
constituted 7.93 cents in respect of dividends and 3.87 cents in respect of
other income.
