The dealing in the relevant securities was made by Macquarie Securities South
Africa (Pty) Limited ("Macquarie Securities") during an offer period. In terms
of the Code, Macquarie Securities is defined as a concert party to the scheme of
arrangement in terms of section 311 of the Companies Act, 1973 (Act 61 of 1973),
as amended, proposed by BMA Gold Limited between Aflease and its ordinary
shareholders detailed in an announcement dated 20 November 2008.
