The Company has been informed that L-R Global Partners, LP and L-R Global Fund,
Ltd. increased their respective shareholdings of Lonrho Plc by 22,050,000 and
9,450,000 in the December placement of ordinary shares, bringing their combined
total holdings to 51,637,216 shares which represents an approximate 6.76%
holding in the Company`s total issued share capital of 763,819,076 ordinary
shares.
