FINAL ORDINARY DIVIDEND 2008 - CURRENCY CONVERSION
In the annual results announcement by Dimension Data Holding plc for the year
ended 30 September 2008 published on Wednesday, 12 November 2008, the Company
announced a dividend of 1.7 US cents per share or its equivalent in other
currencies of payment using the exchange rates prevailing as at the close of
business on Thursday, 29 January 2009.
The local currency equivalent of the dividend has now been established and is as
follows:
South Africa US$1 - ZAR 9.964 which equates to a
dividend amount of 16.9 cents per share
UK US$1 - GBP 0.701 which equates to a
dividend amount of 1.19 pence per share
The dividend will be paid on Friday, 13 March 2009.
The record date for this dividend payment is the close of business on Friday, 13
February 2009 for all the Exchanges where the Company`s shares are listed. The
last day to trade cum-dividend on the JSE Limited ("JSE") will be Friday, 6
February 2009. The shares will trade ex-dividend from the opening of business on
Monday, 9 February 2009 on the JSE and from the opening of business on
Wednesday, 11 February 2009 on the London Stock Exchange.
Share certificates may not be dematerialised or rematerialised on the South
African branch register between Monday, 9 February and Friday, 13 February 2009,
both dates inclusive, and transfers between the UK and South African registers
may not take place during the period Friday, 30 January 2009 and Friday, 13
February 2009 (both days inclusive).
