Appointment of new CEO
The Board of SACMH is pleased to announce the appointment of Grant Scrutton as
CEO with immediate effect. This follows the resignation of Karl Gribnitz whose
term of office has come to an end. Karl will remain on the Board as a non-
executive director.
Grant has worked for six months with Royal Bafokeng Capital as part of a
transitional handover plan. He is a Chartered Accountant, having articled at
KPMG in South Africa. Grant served two years in the Seattle (USA) office during
which time he was involved in the Nasdaq listing of `The Hillhaven group`.
Prior to joining SACMH, he was the Finance Director of Afgri Producer Services
for five years, where he was a member of the turnaround team. Grant has also
fulfilled the role of Group Finance Director at Powertech and, before that, at
Voltex, both of which companies were listed on the JSE Limited and were involved
in significant public transactions.
Grant will continue to work closely with Peet Kotze, the New Chief Operating
Officer, in consolidating the production, improving efficiencies and growing the
company.
