APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

BSc(Hons),CA(SA), CA(Zimbabwe) has been appointed to the Board of the Company as
a non-executive director with effect from 3 February 2009.
Ms Mapaure (31) is the Financial Director of Mineworkers Investment Company
(Pty) Limited with responsibility for finance and strategy. She is also a Non-
Executive Director of Primedia Holdings 1 Ltd, and an alternate Director of
British Petroleum SA (Pty) Ltd and Masana Petroleum Solutions (Pty) Ltd.
RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR
Mr Paul Nkuna, Chairman of the Mineworkers Investment Company (Pty) Limited has
resigned as a non-executive director with effect from 2 February 2009.
