DECLARED FINAL DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI LIMITED HOT ENHANCED
DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("ANGIHE")
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of AngloGold Ashanti
Limited have declared final dividend of 50 cents per ordinary share payable on
Friday, 13 March 2009, to ordinary shareholders recorded in the books of the
company at the close of business on Friday, 6 March 2009.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities,
ANGIHE, will receive an AngloGold Ashanti Limited final dividend of 50 cents per
security on Friday, 13 March 2009, in terms of the Cession clause incorporated
in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day
to trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be
Friday, 27 February 2009.
ANGIHE Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend
from the commencement of business on Monday, 2 March 2009, and the record date
will be Friday, 6 March 2009.
