APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR
In compliance with the requirements of rule 3.59(a) of the JSE Listings
Requirements, Netcare Limited announces herewith that Mr Vaughan Erris Firman,
CA(SA), who has held the position of Acting CFO of the Netcare Group since 5
December 2008, has been appointed as a Director and Chief Financial Officer of
Netcare Limited with immediate effect. Mr Firman joined Netcare in January 2004
and was appointed Financial Director of Netcare SA in June 2006. Prior to
joining Netcare, he held senior financial positions with Southern Sun and
Barloworld Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree and a Higher Diploma
in Taxation Law (Wits.).
