APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Finbond is pleased to advise shareholders of the following management
appointments:
Mr. Aart Jurriaanse - Chief Operating Officer
Aart has a BCom Honours and an MBA. He has been in involved in retail banking
for most of his career and also has experience in the management consulting
industry. Specific areas of responsibility during his career have included the
deployment and management of distribution channels, product and strategy
development as well as project and general management. Before joining Finbond,
Aart was involved in strategy development for the South African banking industry
at the Banking Council of South Africa, in respect of its interbank payment
systems.
Mr. Greg Labuschagne CA - Chief Financial Officer
Greg is a Chartered Accountant and completed his articles at KPMG. Greg stayed
on at KPMG in a management role for two years post articles, which included a
year in Vancouver, Canada. His portfolio included clients in the financial
services, real estate and steel industries. Most recently he took on the role of
Financial Manager - Operations at ABSA Bank (Credit Card Division). At ABSA he
was exposed to all levels of financial management and strategic planning. He
has acquired significant IFRS experience throughout his career, coupled with
exposure to US and Canadian GAAP. Prior to his financial career, he worked for
five years in a sales environment for leading multinational industrial
consumables manufacturer and supplier Pferd.
