Results Of Annual General Meeting
All ordinary resolutions and the special resolution were approved by the
requisite majorities at the Annual General Meeting of shareholders held on 16
February 2009. The special resolution which grants the directors a general
authority in terms of the Companies Act, and the JSE Listings Requirements, for
the acquisition by the company or any of its subsidiaries of up to 4% (four
percent), in the aggregate, of the total issued shares in the company, is being
lodged for registration with the Registrar of Companies.
CESSATION OF DIRECTORSHIP
Tiger Brands advises that Mr. Phil Roux had given notice that he was no longer
available to stand for re-election as a director of the company and,
accordingly, his position as a director of the company ceased with effect from
16 February 2009. As previously advised, Mr. Roux will be leaving the employ of
the company on 13 March 2009.
