NEW CUSTODIAN APPOINTED
Debenture Holders are advised that NewGold has appointed Brink`s Limited
(Company Number 959654, incorporated under the laws of England and
Wales)("Brink`s") as Custodian for the keeping in safe custody of NewGold`s
Gold Bullion holdings.
NewGold`s Gold Bullion has been transported to Brink`s safe vault premises in
England and Brink`s have assumed physical control of the Gold Bullion with
effect from 16 February 2009.
Given the significant increase in NewGold`s holdings of Gold Bullion since
listing in late 2004, the predicted continued growth of such holdings and
limitations in the safe custody capacity of the previous custodian, NewGold made
the decision to appoint Brink`s, a recognised global leader in vault managements
services, as Custodian.
