APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited ("JSE") and as a
consequence of the Black Economic Empowerment transaction with Tiso Group
(Proprietary) Limited ("Tiso Group"), the Board of Directors of ACTOWERS is
pleased to announce the appointment of Vuyisa Nkonyeni as Non-Executive Director
with effect from Thursday, 19 February 2009. A short CV is set out below.
Vuyisa is a director of Tiso Group where his role is that of a senior
transactor. He was a former financial director of Worldwide African Investment
Holdings (Proprietary) Limited and more recently a director of Actis LLP, where
he was a team member of Actis` Black Economic Empowerment funding unit. He is a
Chartered Accountant (SA), having served his training contract at Price
Waterhouse and thereafter joined Deutsche Bank where he gained investment
banking experience, primarily in corporate and project finance advisory work.
Vuyisa also holds a BSc (Hons) Computer Science degree from Rhodes University.
