TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required
to publish a trading statement as soon as they are reasonably certain that the
financial results for the current reporting period will be more than 20%
different from that of the previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that AOE expects headline earnings per share to be
between 23% and 25% higher and earnings per share to be between 13% and 15%
higher for the year ended 31 December 2008 as compared to the prior comparative
period.
The above information has not been reviewed or reported on by AOE`s external
auditors. The Company`s results for the six months ended 31 December 2008 are
expected to be published on or about 5 March 2009.
