DIVIDEND DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE MNP SHARE INSTALMENT
Notice is hereby given of the dividend amount payable for MONDI PLC and that as
a result of the dividend declaration relating to MONDI PLC ( MNP) the Trustees
of the Share Instalment have declared a dividend amount of 5 Euro cents which is
equivalent to 63.3465 cents per MNPNIC share instalment that is payable
on Wednesday, 20 May 2009.The payment per share instalment holder will be
rounded to 2 decimal places.
The last day to trade cum dividend is Friday, 17 April 2009. The share
instalment will commence trading ex dividend from Monday, 20 April 2009 and the
record date is Friday, 24 April 2009.
In the event that the South African National Elections are confirmed for 22
April 2009, a Public Holiday may be declared and the dividend timetable above
would be impacted. In such instance, the Share instalment Trust would likely
bring the dividend dates forward by one day to Thursday, 16 April 2009 with
respective ex dividend dates being changed to Friday, 17 April 2009. The record
and payment dates would remain as stated above.
