DECLARED DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON MTN GROUP LIMITED ENHANCED DIVIDEND SECURITIES

With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of MTN Group Limited
have declared a dividend of 181 cents per ordinary share payable on Monday, 6
April 2009, to ordinary shareholders and recorded in the books of the company at
the close of business on Friday, 3 April 2009.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, MTNIDF,
will receive an MTN Group Limited dividend of 181 cents per security on Monday,
6 April 2009, in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the Supplement
between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to trade ("cum" the
dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be Friday, 27 March 2009.
MTNIDF Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend from
the commencement of business on Monday, 30 March 2009, and the record date will
be Friday, 3 April 2009.
